Flora Hutan Indonesia (FlorHI) application is an integrated application that functions to input and display flora data of Indonesian forests. Flora data entered into the system, aside from the Forest Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (Puslitbanghut MenLHK), also came from the community who participated in reporting the presence of rare flora in Indonesia.
FlorHI consists of two applications: Android-based applications and Web-based applications. FlorHI Android is an application used to input flora findings data on the field. FlorHI Web is an application used to manage flora data and display it in tabular or map form (WebGIS).
Puslitbanghut MenLHK developed FlorHI to support Forest Management Planning which is part of AFoCO Regional Project Component 3: Facilitating the participatory Planning of Community-Based Forest Management Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) Technologies in Forest Resource Management in the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.
The data provided on FlorHI comes from our contibutors (Pratiwi, Marfuah Wardani, Titi Kalima, Adi Susilo, Tajudin Edi Komar) and AFoCO Regional Project Component 3.
